Explore personalized sexual wellness support.

Sexual wellness can involve more than one part of your health. Our team can help you explore coaching, hormone care, and prescription options based on your symptoms, goals, health history, and clinical evaluation.

Estrogen for women

Estrogen can be an important part of sexual wellness, especially when menopause-related vaginal dryness or discomfort is affecting intimacy. Depending on your symptoms and health history, a clinician may discuss vaginal estrogen or estrogen as part of a broader menopause-care plan.

Women’s hormone evaluations and care are often covered by insurance. Coverage varies by plan, service, and medication.

Testosterone for women

For some women, a change in sexual desire may be a reason to talk with a clinician about health, life stage, and treatment options. A prescriber can review your goals, health history, and potential benefits and risks before considering testosterone.

Testosterone use in women is off-label in the United States. It is not right for everyone and requires individualized evaluation and monitoring.

Testosterone for men

Changes in desire or sexual function can have many causes. If your symptoms and evaluation suggest low testosterone may be a factor, our APRN team can discuss whether treatment is appropriate and what ongoing monitoring involves.

An evaluation and lab review are needed before a prescription. Testosterone therapy does not guarantee improvement in libido or erectile function.

Prescription options for erectile dysfunction

Depending on your health history and evaluation, prescription options may include sildenafil (generic or brand-name Viagra®), tadalafil (generic or brand-name Cialis®), or Trimix injections. Your prescriber can explain how the options differ and whether one may be appropriate for you.

Trimix requires individualized prescribing and instruction before use. Erectile dysfunction medications are not suitable for everyone and can have important medication interactions, so a prescriber must review your health history and current medications.

Vaginal estrogen

Vaginal dryness, irritation, or discomfort with intimacy can happen around menopause. After an individual evaluation, a clinician may discuss a vaginal estrogen prescription and other ways to support comfort.

Your symptoms and health history guide the conversation. Share any history of hormone-sensitive cancer or unexplained bleeding with your clinician.

Oxytocin

Curious about oxytocin and intimacy, arousal, or orgasm satisfaction? Ask us. A prescriber can talk with you about what is known, what remains uncertain, and whether it may be an option for you.

Oxytocin is not a guaranteed treatment for connection or orgasm concerns. Results vary, and any prescription requires a clinical review.

Hormone care may come in different forms.

Depending on the medication and your individualized care plan, hormone options may include oral capsules, pellets, injections, creams, gels, or patches. Not every medication is available in every form. Your prescriber will discuss which options may fit your needs and health history.
