Because testosterone is a Schedule III controlled substance, there are important rules we must follow for your safety and to stay compliant with federal and state law:
Connecticut Patients Only
We can only prescribe and dispense testosterone for patients who live in Connecticut. Prescribers must hold a license and DEA registration in the same state as the patient, so we cannot ship testosterone across state lines.Ongoing Monitoring
Testosterone requires careful oversight. By law, you must meet with our team every 3 months (either in person or virtually) to review your treatment, labs, and make sure dosing is safe and effective.Home Delivery with Strive Pharmacy
When your testosterone is shipped to your home, it must be signed for at delivery. If you aren’t home, the carrier will usually provide a secure pickup location or redeliver at another time.

After booking, you’ll receive initial forms to complete (demographics and insurance).
This visit is administrative only — please do not attend.
Our team uses this information to start your chart and prepare your care.
Our Team Schedules Your Quest Diagnostics Lab Appointment
Once your initial forms are received and reviewed, our scheduler will contact you to arrange your Quest lab appointment.
Labs must be done fasting and typically include a full hormone panel to assess testosterone and related markers.
Our Team Schedules Your Nurse Practitioner Evaluation
After labs are booked, we’ll schedule your in-person Nurse Practitioner visit.
At this visit, your APRN will review your labs, interpret your symptoms, and develop your personalized treatment plan.
Begin Treatment (If Appropriate)
If your results and symptoms indicate benefit from testosterone therapy, your provider will discuss the best options and educate you on next steps.
Ongoing care includes medical monitoring and regular check-ins every 3 months as required by law.
