Prescription Medication & Appointment Policies Patient FAQ
Milford Med Spa & Wellness
We want your care to be smooth, safe, and predictable. The following FAQs explain how prescription refills work in our practice and why keeping your scheduled appointments is essential.
💊 How do prescription refills work at Milford Med Spa & Wellness?
All prescription refills are addressed and sent during your scheduled visit.
This means:
-
Prescriptions are not refilled between visits
-
Prescriptions are not refilled after hours, on weekends, or on holidays
-
Prescriptions are not refilled in response to pharmacy refill requests
It is your responsibility to discuss all medication needs and refill requests during your appointment.
🏥 Why don’t you respond to refill requests from pharmacies?
For safety, accuracy, and compliance reasons:
-
We do not respond to refill requests sent by pharmacies
-
Pharmacies do not have access to your full medical context or treatment plan
-
Refill decisions must be made directly between you and your provider
👉 If there is a problem with a prescription sent during your visit, you must contact our office yourself.
Pharmacy-generated requests will not be answered.
⏰ What happens if I miss or skip my appointment?
Because prescriptions are only sent during visits:
-
Missing or skipping an appointment may delay your medications
-
It may take 2–3 weeks to get another available appointment
-
We cannot “bridge” medications or send refills while you wait
Keeping your appointments is essential to maintaining uninterrupted care.
